CCR1

CCR1 (C-C Motif Chemokine Receptor 1) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with CCR1 include Immune-Complex Glomerulonephritis and Chromoblastomycosis. Among its related pathways are Cytokine Signaling in Immune system and Akt Signaling. Gene Ontology (GO) annotations related to this gene include G-protein coupled receptor activity and chemokine receptor activity. An important paralog of this gene is CCR3.
Full Name
C-C Motif Chemokine Receptor 1
Function
Receptor for a C-C type chemokine. Binds to MIP-1-alpha, MIP-1-delta, RANTES, and MCP-3 and, less efficiently, to MIP-1-beta or MCP-1 and subsequently transduces a signal by increasing the intracellular calcium ions level. Responsible for affecting stem cell proliferation.
